    it seems all the good mexican's are near retirement , retierd or not the same as we know mexicans to be, does anyone know any mexican prospects on the rise

    Boxing in general has seen a sink in the talent pool. Its not like it was before. There are less registred boxers, and less talented boxers.

    There is probably some 15 year old kid knocking men out in circus tents as we speak. No I think Mexico is alright . I think we have just been spoiled in the past few years.

    We still have Marquez. He keeps on worrying about getting a Pac fight so I say that the Mexican worrier phase is still not over.

    Mexican warriors not existing is never happening. There will always be around for as long as boxing is around.

    Marco Antonio Periban a super middleweight,
    Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez is a southpaw middleweight 16-0-(14ko's) only 19 years old he's won a youth title but I still consider him a prospect, Archie Ray Marquez also probably lots more.

    There's also José Benavidez (jr.) he's 18 years old 10-0 with 9 ko's 6ft tall light welterweight who was a 11 time national champion in the amateurs and had a record of 120-5 he's already signed with top rank.
