I can... and by a wider margin than the first. Khan's only going to improve and I don't think he'll take as many chances as he did in the first fight. Still though, I'm a big Maidana fan too, and if he takes out Khan in a rematch then props to him.
I would too if I hit my opponent with everything but the kitchen sink and he was still standing till the last bell...
thing i dont understand about peoples logic..... if your in a boxing match and you want to win, your opponent hurts you whilst you are up on the scorecard do you a. stand there like a moron and get knocked out or b. cruise because you are ahead on points and win the fight
Khan maidana rematch would be awesome, but from the looks of it that would be at 147 in a few years, by then khan will have a clearer advantage because he will be prime then. I dont think khan will ever rematch maidana though.
I'm a massive Maidana fan, and although I'd give him a chance of winning the rematch, I think Khan is number one in the division.
Agreed,Khan was the better fighter on the night.Maidana had his moments but was looking for the KO a bit too much.It was a good fight but Khan won it fair.
Khan went down a bit in my estimation with this fight. Maidana looked like crap against Corley, and I really thought Khan would dominate this fight. I really thought he was by far in away the best in the division. Now im 50/50 with him in his fight with Bradley. Roach just cant seem to teach his charges inside fighting. As for the fight itself, Khan deserved the UD, he won the majority of the rounds, but Maidana was coming on strong and arguably won the fight and lost the boxing match if that makes any sense.
I had Maidana whit one point ahead. But it was a close fight. I think, the real winner was the Boxing Fan.
Maidana should've gotten Khan outta there but he didn't, so I can understand the frustration of being so close but not being able to finish the job. Khan deserves a lot of credit for pulling out that win, after seeing him destroyed in 30 seconds by the limited Breidis Prescott, I didn't think Khan had it in him to come back from being seriously shaken. He is in for another tough test on the 16th of April when he faces Paul McCloskey.
Maidana should just concentrate on Morales, he lost to Khan fair and square and needs to GET OVER IT!!
