Prime Tyson could possibly beat Ali the FIRST time they met. After that? Ali would beat Tyson in rematches.

really? Foreman knocked frazier down like 7 times or something like a ragdoll, seems like if frazier fought tyson, tyson would make him look like Trevor Berbick all over again.

You think Tyson would fare differently against prime Foreman?

Ali's got a great chin. Tyson would not be able to KO him in the early rounds like he did to Spinks. After that ? Ali plays with him.

I actually disagree, his trainer was oldschool, thats why i belive he had an advantage having cus as his trainer, i think he would have done equaly as well if fought in those days, hell maybe even better, just the strength and speed alone was unmatched. Foreman was the hardest hitter, but cus told tyson never to fight foreman, ever.

How would anyone seeing say a '67 Ali vs 86' Tyson??

Does Tyson catch and kayo this version thats less bulkier and less resistant to punches?

    OR

Does a younger and faster Ali with legs to dance for 12 rounds frustrate the hell out of Mike and outpoint/KO him?

I like looking at this fantasy match up a bit more, kind of has a bit more intrigue due to being talked about less, also how about a 64 less experienced Clay vs the Monster Tyson?

Cus told tyson to never fight foreman cuz he was an animal or something to that effect, i think cus knew tyson better than anyone, maybe he knew tyson couldnt beat him. For my opinion,, I think A Prime Tyson beats anyone anyday. The tyson that beat trevor berbick would have destroyed anyone that night. just my opinion. Heres a 20 year old kid, pummeling the champ from post to post, making him look like nothing. Lennox Lewis better be glad he got the washed up tyson

Hardcore boxing fans just can't let go of the past, Ali was a very popular figure and often people cloud that to mean the same thing as being the best boxer of all time. That being said Tyson burnt out quick, in his career and in the ring. Thinking of those two fighting I can't get that left hook of Joe Frasiers out of my head. The one in the last round of their first fight which decked Ali. Tyson threw that punch faster and harder, but I doubt he could throw it like that in the final round if a greuling fight. Hypothetical match up's suck. H2H there's nothing between these two, they both seem like they'd give each other trouble.

Mike Tyson was an emotional midget, and Ali would have this fight won before they ever stepped in the ring.

Great freaking point!! If fraziers left rocked him that hard.....what would tysons do, and if frazier can make contact,, so coud tyson. Truth is,its a great match up, but tyson probably would have kod him in the first or second round. Possibly. Then that would mean he is the greatest of all time. (hypothetically)

In tysons prime though, Tyson had the fight won before he got in the ring because of the intemidation. I mean these guys were shitting bricks. for those of us who were around back then, it was always the running joke that u had to make sure u were there for the begining of the fight because they only lasted 30 seconds. He was a freaking monster

Tyson had the advantage of fighting during a very weak era. Tyson's best wins were an old Larry Holmes, and light heavyweight Spinks who had not fought in a year. Every time Tyson stepped in with w top notch heavyweight he lost. The man got knocked the **** out 5 times. He was a good, but certainly not great, fighter.

good comeback!! but to say tyson wasnt great? Dude, The youngest Heavyweight of ALL TIME! and holme and spinx wernt that old! hell larry was the age of lennox when he fought vitali, but it was freakin larry holmes! he destroyed him. Look at the bums that ali frazier and foreman fought!
