Just watching a few interviews/highlights of him today, and the man is a legend and, other than Mike Tyson, he is without doubt my favourite Boxer of all time.

Brought it like no other, had the heart of a lion, nasty ko power, savage inside the ring yet came across as humble outside of it.

I remember watching his fight with Mcclellan and even thugh i was only 10/11 years old, you just knew that something amazing had taken place.

Tis a shame that there isn't more fighters like him these days.

I was in the same restaurant as Benn once & spoke to him briefly, he was an absolute gentleman.

Different guy inside the ring though, a GREAT fighter.

Heard a story about his army boxing days where he used to KO heavyweights. Benn is a legend.

It is only in the last few years that I have forgiven Benn.

The man was fun in the ring and outside.

Although always a Eubank fan myself, I do recognize, Eric Morecambe and Peter Cook may of been brilliant, but they did not really work without Ernie Wise or Dudley Moore.

A very good fighter, who actually learnt from his losses (pre Collins), something that just does not seem to happen now a days.

    Agreed Koman.

And he actually came to DESTROY his opponents, not just beat them.

They definitley do not make them like Nigel Benn any more.

He would of been a MASSIVE superstar in today's era.
