That fight really should have been ruled a no contest, McCall was in no shape mentally to be fighting in the ring that night.

 

Norman Stone was ****ed up but damn I miss that dude he was quite a character.

 

Although it is embarrassing for the public image of boxing any time Norman Stone is around, he gets my vote for ATG best cornerman ever - for sheer entertainment value alone! His antics in ketting KTFO by Alton Merkerson and later banned by Randy Neuman are pound for pound the most hilarious and entertaining cornerman antics of all time.

And yeah, ouch for Rahman. The reporters caught Jack Dempsey when he was knocked out of the ring by Louis Firpo. It's a good thing that Jim Lampley wasn't the one at ringside. History could have been averted by a Dempsey count out.

I don't understand how this was embarrassing.

It was kinda cool actually.

I've been trying to find it to play it again, it was pumping me up at the time of the Calzaghe fight.
