Erik Morales: "Maidana does not even hit as hard as Pacquiao"

Perhaps Pacquiao back at that weight was the harder puncher p4p, but Morales is no longer at his peak. As much as I respect him, I don't want to see him get hurt because he is fighting on when he should retire. Even if he wins, and I do give him a chance, he is probably going to take a fair bit of punishment along the way and that would be a damn shame.

 

I don't think Maidana hits that hard really. The amount of stoppages he's got at world level isn't too impressive. He has only stopped Ortiz and that wasn't a real KO. Kotelnik, Corley and Khan all went the distance. People are jumping on the band wagon. Khan hates his style and Khan himself is over rated imo. I think Maidana should win by stoppage since he's bigger, Morales is shot and Morales likes a war but don't be suprised if Morales pushes him close if he's not 100%. The 140 division is over rated imo, 147 is only 7 lbs north and the fighters there are a lot better imo. Pacquiao would be untouchable hear + it's his natural weight.
Bradley, Khan, Maidana and Alexander are no better p4p than Cotto, Margo, Mosley and Clottey ( I would say less ).

 

This fight has a Duran-Barkley feel to it. Might have a cheeky bet on Morales by decision.

can't fault moreles for saying that pac hits hard, coz he fought him 3x and was ko'd twice. whereas, solis was ko'd by pac and then said afterward his wife hits harder than pac.
