Why is Calderon being called a quitter while Morales gets a by pass for quitting

Because there are some serious ******s on this forum. Calderon was taking hellacious body shots from a bigger man who had no problem standing in front of him and throwing as many shots to the body as posible because he knew Calderon's punches to the head could not put a dent in him.

 

The difference is Morales was beaten up, got knocked down, and fought again before the final knock out. With Calderon, he quit on the first knockdown. But you cannot judge by the knockdowns. Calderon must have been badly hurt for him to continue. Or perhaps not, because it didn't looked that way.

 

OMG he was taking clean ****ing body shots. His tiny body took more than enough punishment from a much bigger man.

 

ortiz got slammed for being a quitter and he took massive amount of punishment against marco... calderon did not make much of an effort to continue fighting from my pov but hey i took the under so i am happy he quit.

 

Morales went into the third fight with Pac with the intention of KOing Pac in the early rounds. Because he knew, under the circumstances, it was his only chance (he couldn't outlast Pac in his condition). And he gave it his all in those 3 rounds trying to achieve that objective. Having failed that, it was pointless to go on. That's why his "quitting" actually looked ADMIRABLE, rather than deplorable.

But I do get your point, only the fighter knows what he's going through inside that ring. Spectators can't afford them anything but their utmost respect.

 

Ray Hogan how many times do I have to school you? Erik was fighting the GOAT and calderon was fighting a fringe contender. How are you going to compare the GOAT against a tijuana cab driver. Youtube, use it.

 

It's just trolls being trolls, both knew that they were beat and could never get the best of their opponents and I lost no respect for either.

 

Because Morales is a ****ing warrior and Calderon is a little ***** I could toss 75 yards with my left hand.

 

Not that Calderon would have won, but how come people have yet to mention Seguras low blows. Calderon should have pull a Hopkins script or Cintron script It was also more than one low blow if you watch clearly I know a lot of fighters would have complain and use this as an advantage for breathing time and more importantly making their opponent think twice going to the body...
