i just saw the commercial, and it had clips of gatti wailing on some poor, random saps. the hilarious thing is, he doesn't look like he's pullin' punches the way that roy jones did when he was on the show. he was straight up throwing full-fledged joey gamache power punches, and having some of these guys taste the canvas

Gatti's going to be on the show? Who's the pro then?

Kidding...I was a fan of Gatti and I'd rather him fight on Pros vs. Joes than get seriously hurt in the ring. Best of luck Arturo. Just don't hurt these guys too much.

Roy played pitty-pat with them basically. Those Joe's were breathing heavy and lookin like they were gonna die after 30 seconds in the ring. :yep

Out of all the pro-athletes on the show, I think they only tell the boxer to take it easy.. for the sake of no one ending up in the hospital..

They used head gear. And the Joe's were in decent shape. Not couch potatoes, but I don't remember any looking like true athletic specimenes.

Guys landed some shots on Jones, but nothing big from what I recall. He was voluntarilly backing up into the ropes and letting them try to hit him.

He was basically messing around in there, and throwing with not much authority, if any.

Imagine how much ratings that show will get if they put Tyson in there.

:-( The whole thing was ******ed. I also felt sorry for Jones when he had to listen to some idiots make fun of him getting knocked out by Tarver.

If I was Roy, I would blast that one guy once on the ribcage. I'm sure he wanted to.

McBride isn't an average Joe. Lame for a professional heavyweight, but the guy is a big, tall man. Tyson still has some pop, and he would do to the average man on the street what he would do to professional opponents in his prime. One punch and they're out.

And Tyson could get some much wanted money out of the whole thing.

I don't remember exactly, I think he just replied with some jokey comment about kicking the contestant's ass later. He didn't look very bothered, but I would imagine he hates that ****. I remember another time when there was a documentary where Roy was in an elementary school in Florida and some kids were telling him that he got beaten twice by Tarver. I always feel bad when Tarver's name is brought up to Jones like that. He's a true legend who never received the mainstream recognition and still doesn't get a lot of respect from casual boxing fans. Tarver will always be happy knowing he knocked him out too. Damnitt.. how I wish Jones retired after Tarver I.

Gatti's biggest payday was against Floyd. He didn't make more than 4 million. His first million dollar payday was Ward 2. Floyd made more in '07 than Gatti did in his entire career. Fact :good

50 million dollars Floyd made in the ring in '07. 58 million in 13 months if you add in the Baldomir fight.

Or comfort himself knowing that he's one of the greatest boxers ever, while Tarver won't even make the hall of fame. :D
