Just looking back at this video do ya beleive what roaches is saying or was it just mind games? I got the pleasure to see porter spar in our gym in dc against Dominic wade who is a middle weight prospect but I'm not sure what to make of this old comment from roach.

People tends to believe in what they want to believe in.

Lets say for example Pac has an upcoming fight with Porter, and you hate Pac, then you would believe that this is just to hype Porter.

But if Pac has an upcoming fight with Cotto, and you hate Pac, then you would believe that this is true and Porter should be a viable opponent.

Now my guess is, Pac hater would assume that Cotto is done by the time Pac fought him. Roach is telling the truth when it suits their agenda.

Believable. He has a better frame than Cotto.

Good thing he stays bouncing on his feet instead of being flat footed like Miguel

Its believable cause Cotto's power doesn't come from physicality or him being heavy handed, his power is generated from accuracy and incredible timing of his punches.

I never thought of Cotto as being very athletic or physically gifted either.

I don't think so. If this is in preparation for Cotto then it makes sense to say something like this in the media. It's not completely unbelievable, it's possible, but Cotto at this stage in his career was knocking out a lot more people and has faced the best opposition throughout his career, and this probably has more to do with power than skills because unpolished sluggers also make their career path with these early clues. I just don't see it.

I doubt it, like it was said if this was in preparation for Cotto then its understandable if it wasn't then I think Roach needs to take a solid punch from both and then re-evaluate his thoughts!

Frame flies out the window when you look at alexis arguello.

Plus I saw porters last fight on espn and there's no way cotto goes the distance with the opponent, cotto would have easily taken the guy out, roach talks out off his ass when he wants like stating he can tell margo had loaded wraps in every fight by watching the fights
