I've said this on previous post that gallagher trains all his fighters in the same basic style march forward no jab no head movement and on saturday nights performance by murray just proved my point if you listern to gallagher in the corner he tells murray to work the body no mention of using the jab and head movement to work your way in murray was 100-1 on he should have stopped his man easily instead of struggling and getting banged up the way he did in my opinion murray needs to change trainers to a more technical trainer someone like billy nelson would be perfect before murray fights mitchell otherwise i see him getting stopped look at what glen mc'crory said after the fight ( you can hit murray with your eyes closed ) and you know what he's right :thumbsup
Both seemed to have an off night on Sat. Thought Gallagher did a brilliant job in Crolla's last fight but seemed short on ideas saturday.Looked like Murray left his best in the gym. The 'goin in blind' statement smacks of a bit of unprofessionalism at this stage of Murrays career imo.
Whether he needs a new trainer Im not sure, the Gallagher stable is a winning one right now, but he definitely needs to work on his head movement and jab. Walking down fighters will only get you so far, and he'd get mullered quickly by top world level operators. A lot of his body shots are thrown while lunging in, if he keeps that up hes gonna get sparked from an uppercut sometime soon.
so Mark Heffron, stephen smith, joe murray all use that walk forward no head movement style...get th fuk outta here..just because you bum off arnie and his gym doesn't mean you should critisise gallaghers methods.
Alright Blue hope your well bud, I think the going in blind theory is testimony to the way matches are made sometimes by FWP- plucked from obscurity Murray was on a hiding to nothing in this match. Not critisisng Dean Powell but the spaniard turned out better then expected and could nearly have joined the likes Yuri Romanov, Lazlo Bognar, Andreas Galfi, Lorant szabo, yuri epifantsev, afif djelti who beat talented, unprepared brits on the cusp of great things. Don't like it- there's plenty of brits who could have filled that role on saturday.
Joe is really switched on with regards to training techniques. I've spoke to him a couple of times and he not only studies boxing well- but his conditioning methods are very modern and intelligently put together- he does all this on his own.
stephen smith hasn't even hand a fight under gallagher yet you daft twat but what about crolla he's a murray clone and as for farnell what the **** has he to do with anything you gallagher bum boy now ****k off (billy nelson the best trainer in the world you northern twat )
hahahahaha what a serious tool you are Lance. something to do with Billy Nelson this. Remove your tongue from Billys ringpiece you little cling-on
would ste smith go to gallagher if he was a 1 dimensional trainer? crolla mite have a similar style to murray but hey..it's fukin alot more effective then his old style!! you have named me 1 fighter apart from murray that fights in that come forward style...gallagher bum boy?:rofl:rofl he is a good trainer but not the best in my opinion and neither is billy nelson...northern twat:rofl thats original, you sound like a 12 year old girl that hasn't got her way getting angry behind a computer screen, nelson best trainer in the world pretty sure your billys rent boy
macky as a technical trainer billy leaves gallagher standing end ov but if you want to talk about arse licking get your own tongue from gallaghers **** box what are you gallaghers spit bucket carrier
you come across as a genuine ******, there both good trainers but billy is nowhere near the best in the world you tool
