It will be a great fight, but I will predict Robert. Chag has looked older and more worn every fight of his pro career. Maybe it is hep, or the effects of medication. We have all heard the rumors of blindness, numbness. Maybe its just too many years in a tough sport. Whatever it is, he is not the same fighter that he was, and I am not sure that he really reached his best potential as apro. That being said, the man has skills, and he knows how to beat bigger opponents.
The young fellow is a raw talent at this point. He has good basics and potential but he needs more experience. Rightnow? Vitali beats him.
Helenius was nervous last Saturday, he's not matured yet. Vitali would scare him to death. A paralyzed Helenius would be clubbed to a bloody mess by Vitali until Wegner throws in the towel.
This going to out of hands. Wladimir Klitschko 15th fight Ladislav Husarik Vitali Klitschko 15th fight Alben Belinski Lennox Lewis 15th Gary Mason, before that nothing
Uh, yea the Klits will "avoid" him because there is little interest in a fight at this stage when Helenius is neither a draw outside of Finland nor does he have enough experience. There's little money to be made boxing Helenius. Give him 2-3 years and that might change. If Helenius wants a title shot soon then he'll have to become mandatory right now. Just like the Klitschkos did in the early stages of their career.
Vitali would out box Helenius quite comfortably at this stage. Robert's complimented by the Peter fight, because he had a fighter in there who is short and easy to hit. He looks somewhat lethargic, and i consider Vitali very athletic when moving around the ring...
I'd recommend everyone to take a look at some Helenius's first fights and see the pace of the improvements he's been making. At the start of his career he looked like complete crap and I thought he'd never amount to anything, but in just a couple of years he's been coming along like no other. Its too soon for the Klitschko's but if he keeps on improving at this rate, he might be able to become a major force in a year or too, and the Klitschkos likely will only go down from here.
I'd like to see what happens if they time it right. Have Helenius fight Vitali in a year or so when he just might have grown old over night. The guy is 40, so it could happen any time and even if Helenius is not ready then, it could be an interesting fight. A past it Vitali vs a not quite ripe Helenius. I'd probably still have my money on Vitali, as the difference in class between the two is just too big. Plus I don't think Helenius has the mentality or the toughness to really take the fight to someone like Vitali.
