Simple poll. It was reported today by the Ring that he owes $3.4million in back taxes to the IRS. Not the first issues with taxes he has confronted in his career. All the footage of him blowing money is going to make for some epic clips in a few years.
And that was just for 2009 when he fought Marquez. He may very well owe money for 2010 as well for when he fought Mosley. It's would be a a huge surprise if he didn't end up like many former greats and ended up without a cent to his name. Ironic considering his whole Money moniker.
Floyd's obviously a gambling addict, he'll be in the ring soon fighting some 140lber like Khan or Alexander.....or Spadafora haha:rofl:rofl
Floyd isn't too smart outside of the ring. I forecast that he is using the same accountants that others like Snipes, Briggs, and Tyson used, and we will eventually see tax evasion charges brought where Floyd will get racked over the coals while his accountants go free. Floyd watches too much B.E.T., and is no student of US social history.
Floyd is going to **** his money up and therefore needs to keep coming back to boxing, however at a certain age he will just get sparked out or pick up pointless losses just for money like holyfield.
who cares, or knows about what he has...just because he doesn't pay the IRS doesn't mean he's broke, there are many big wigs who duck and dodge the IRS, yet they are still well off...none of us know anything about his personal life.
2015 would be the penultimate year, i reckon i believe he'll be active for 2-3 more fights until mid to late 2012 with the way he throws money and buying dead investments, 3 years of splurging after his career is over will definitely be a stretch
anyone like the above poster caliming hes not broke when he owes the irs is delusional. He will be cash broke within two years of retireing and then i give him3-5 years of selling off his belongings before being bankrupt.
Yeah, with all these pics he keeps posting of $50,000 bet tickets on basketball games that he wins, I can only imagine how many of those bets he's losing.
yep...too bad for him he's not very smart about it...many people have schemes for tax evasion, Floyd's is to simply not pay them...doesn't make him smart, but doesn't mean he's broke either.
