It is a **** fight! Cameron is a rank pub brawler with a poor CV! Green should take on Tarver, Dawson or one of the top 5 cruisers or **** off back to retirement!

beating the 2nd and 3rd ranked ozzy doesn't mean he's earned it. it means nothing imo.

cameron has an adequate record, but it is what most people consider to be a keep busy fight. like the briggs and siaca fights. they meant nothing on the world stage but green could sell plenty of tickets and make good money from putting the fights on.

there r plenty of other credible opponents out there if he can't get a title holder.

green has plenty of keep busy fights on his resume in recent times, the fans don't want any more.

i dont agree with him fighting cameron either, but look at the brainless masses writing on his facebook page, theres people on there telling him to still fight mundine ffs. and when they see these articles and bull**** cameron is spouting, they immediately assume him to be a legitimate challenge, and it therefore generates a huge amount of interest within the social sports fans, especially with the old nz vs aus card. i dont agree with it but i can see it happenning

Dont mind Green and Cameron, but if Danny only has a few fights in the tank then prefer he take a shot at the worlds best.

    Tend to agree.

I don't see why so many think this is a mismatch, or tune up.
Cameron is ok, and Green is no better.

Using the Tua fight as a reference is silly, Tua would knock Greens head off as well.

What I would like to know is, who has Green fought at the higher weights that Cameron wouldn't beat?

The only difference between Green and Cameron, is Green has the media shoved up his clacker.

The justification he'll use is that he is coming of some major surgery and needs a tune up. It looks like Danny is not interested at the moment but as time goes on and there is more pressure to step up he'll crumble. Someone will throw a couple of shiny coins his way and and the Cameron fight will be on.

Also didn't he lose weight after surgery? He must be down from Danny weight now and firmly back at light heavy.

NEGOTIATIONS ARE GOING ALONG VERY VERY NICELY . make NO bones about it Cameron was approached , he did do has asked , it did'nt get the response hoped for so its all starting to resurface , with Cameron BEING told WHAT TO SAY AND WHEN TO SAY IT , so get your wallets out cos it will be a reduced price $39.99 , just for the fans so Danny can have his warm up he needs after his near death appendix op ,

What weight will this be at?? ......and don't say cruiserweight. 175.5? 185? 190? It sure as **** won't be at 200.

    It's a ****'n farce already.

Cameron is delusional. Greens loss of interest in him is of Camerons own doing. It was his performances against Ammann and McCracken which made Green lose interest. Green was hoping Cameron would beat these guys convincingly so that his fans couldnt accuse him of fighting a shot fighter (I guess to make up for the other farces).

He didnt perform so Green wasnt willing to disappoint his fans and fork out a big payday to him.

And i'm not a Green fanboy, this is reality. This is just the way it is. Green has to pick his next few fights carefully, since there wont be many left given his age...
