Respect to Fury. Rahman will knock him out though I'm afraid.

Yeah I would, Khan will easily KO the Mick within 3 rounds, who cares? Rahman vs Tyson is close to a 50/50. If Fury wins this at only 22 he will have to be taken seriously, very seriously.

Fair point mate, i like Fury aswel and hope he beats Rahman as a win for Rahman wouldn't do as much good as it would Fury. Fury seems like he wants to fight anyone and i like any fighter who's prepared to fight anyone.

I look at this fight, and just think back a dozen years or so.

There I remember a young prospect by the name of Pele Reid, stepping up in class against a supposed ancient past it veteran (Orlin Norris), and to be fair it was a mismatch; it only lasted 50 seconds... ;)

We'll see what Fury's made of with this fight, his punch resistance is still extremely questionable to me, John McDermott had him in some serious trouble in their first meeting and Hasim Rahman is a huge step up from Big John, a potentially very dangerous fight, depends how hungry Rahman still is, hopefully he isn't just coming over to make up the numbers.

orlin wasnt that far past it though and was a good cruiser, reid was totally unproven and had just lost to francis i think, hopefully rahman does the same job on tyson fury that would be ****ing great

I think this is terrible matchmaking, credit Tyson for his attitude & self-belief but I have a bad feeling about this fight.

Why fight a still dangerous former world champ at this point in his career? If this was a few fights down the line it makes a lot more sense than now. Tyson should be fighting at domestic level at the mo imo.

Norris was a world rated Heavyweight when he fought Reid and was being lined up to fight Herbie Hide, W*rren had a promtional interest in Norris and wanted to 'showcase' him in the UK prior to meeting Hide.

Reid W*rren's Heavyweight hope had just been badly exposed by Julius Francis and was therefore 'expendable' as you stated he lost to Norris very quickly and got his contract terminated the next day

Can't say I'm hugely enthralled by this, Rahman took six rounds to stop Damon Reed recently (who's just lost every round against a 257lbs James Toney) apparently he looked dreadful and was badly stunned at one point

He's shot, he's getting very little notice, he's ready for taking hence the match being made

That said he can still punch (he's on four stoppage wins against journeymen) be interesting to see what happens if he can catch Fury in the early rounds
