We'll probably get Nelson and McGuigan playing with a touch screen instead of an undecard fight.

Change the title to 'FAO Adam Smith' and tell him we want to know before the night what will be shown live.

If they don't announce it I won't pay for the PPV. Last time was a joke.

Hopefully if theres half decent fights in the undercard then they'll show more of them? I know something would have been better than nothing on the Harrision-Haye card but maybe they took the view that the card was so poor that they needed to pad it out with crap from the studio?

Yeah..... there was one undercard fight worth watching and we got it.

Unless Sky demand that PPV fights have a certain level of undercard they aren't going to base their decisions upon it and it's content.

Even though I hate Haye a great deal, you've got to admit he's manoevred himself into a fairly decent position - if the spastics at Sky are prepared to allow such a blatant cashgrab as the Fraudley fight and demand nothing in return then that's their problem.

It was probably them pushing for the fight as it happens.

To be honest, the quality of an undercard doesn't influence the buys that much. The Hatton undercards were generally crap too, especially the Mayweather one - still did big numbers at 4am.

I agree to an extent lads, but surely we should have had the option of watch Hall-Davies in a British Title clash?

Lets be honest, any other night Sky would have been happy with that topping a Saturday Fight Night Bill and telling us how good a fight it was.

Of course mate, I was careful not to defend the decision just to explain what might have been the thinking behind it....;O)

Nah, I preferred the studio hype.

''This is a genuine 50-50 fight.....''

''Audley hasn't always delivered but we know what he can do, we saw it against Michael Sprott....''

I bet Haye and Audley were laughing their balls off at Sky, probably shared a 4 pack in the change room afterwards.

you do know that if haye gets £5 million, then that means Skys cut is £10 million?

I wouldnt mind looking like a dick for £10 million - it would probably have funded their boxing for the next few years.

Although now im considering it, as at the time id had a few beers and was jumping after winning a **** load on Haye Ko3 - seriously Haye v Harrison, what the **** was that?!:rofl:rofl:rofl

There are enough people from Sky that read this forum, i.e. the likes of Ed Robinson, Bob Mee et al, it would be good if they feedback to us on this as it is a fundamental issue for us boxing fans.

That would be an undercard worth watching.

  14. I dont get why they don't just carry on showing all the undercard after they go off air.. I dont give a **** if they don't commentate.. In fact I'd rather they didnt! Just run the tape. With no sound.. Rather than that you watch a ****ing advert tryin to get you to buy it. Its bollocks.. Theres no reason if we've paid for it they can't show every fight...

if its a massive fight then fair enough if their aint much undercard. If its a big name boxer taking an easy fight (no disrespect to McCloskey but i dont think hes on Khans level) then i want a few half decent undercard fights before ill pay.
