John Simpson vs Stephen Smith II who wins? Is a close call but i go for Simpson

Im not sure mate, i think he is one of the those deluded types like fraudley, believes his fighters can beat anybody in the world..i remember him saying he would beat juanma few months back

 

I'd take the Fana fight bloke is 37 barely a name on the record. Its the young up and coming lads in the divison I'd be worried about

 

agree, if the fight did happen sky would try and make out fana is the best sfw in the world, when in reality he is top 5

 

Genuine 50/50 fight for me. I'm leaning on the side of Simpson but it's in Liverpool...

I agree john throw 434 punches coz smith kept holding him,then 909 against lindsay who at least wanted to fight.

 

Simpson will do it again imo. Smith is a decent fighter but John is just too rugged and tough for him. Im surprised John hasnt moved on to better things coz if anyones earned it he has. As for Appleby, he is having a bad spell but he is young enough to come back and once the lad gets his head in the right place you will see his talent make a return. Young Paul 2 or 3 years ago was deffo showing more talent than Smith ...by a country mile imo

 

Speaking generally Smith is the better fighter IMO , and i fancy him to win this rematch

Im cocky? Never have been! Just VERY confident of beating John Simpson. I have no reason whatsoever not to be! No sparring? I sparred 8 rounds with Crolla yesterday with someone from the board there watching as they were there for my checkweigh...AND was at a press conference with Maloney in the morning (where Simpson never turned up)...surely if I was cut Maloney would have said somethin??? :roll: So much for trying to start a rumour ey pal?

And if u look, a lot of people write stuff about me and my fight last time, I dont bite, I just reply to some of the crazy stuff Billy comes out with. Got nothing against anyones opinions, their entitled to them! As for the holding, I done what I had to do to win...a lot lesser people wouldnt have finished 12 rounds with my injury....this time will be much different, John will get hit with a lot more shots and I will win a lot more dominantly. Hopefully afterwards u might realise that its not cocky, I have the upmost respect for John himself, I am just extremely confident that I will win the fight april 27th and go home with two titles :thumbsup

It just seems he fights much better on the road lol.

Truth be told I'd like to have seen John move up (too many wasr at domestic level will leave him with an empty tank one day) and the fight with Smith and Lindsay taking place.
