Can Floyd beat Pacman worse than Marquez did?

way way back to the original post, I scored pac marquez one with a die hard marquez fan this weekend. He said, marquez is in control. I said, HE'S NOT LANDING MORE SHOTS THAN MANNY. He complained manny was missing, and i said, Marquez is missing too.

Then he said he didn't score agression but sharpness, and i said, look, that combination was sharp but HE MISSED ALL THE SHOTS. So when manny misses it counts against him but not against Marquez? And he finally scored the fight 116-114 or something for manny, with a few 10-10 rounds. It was not a schooling, It was a very even fight. We scored the first round 10-7. I had it for Pac by a wider margin, but there were some swing rounds.

I finally convinced him to watch the rounds where Marquez was backpedaling, and throwing sharp combinations that didn't land, whereas Manny's misses were more obvious. Not a schooling, a close competitive fight. Floyd is better than Marquez for sure, but I also think he is not the same kind of combination puncher.

Floyd brought it to Shane which most didn't think he had in him and would KO him if Mosley wouldn't of been holding on to him. Ifyou look at many of Floyd earlier fights, one would see how offensive he can be. If he wanted to have a all out war with Pac considering his speed and defense. I believe he would pull it off. Pac still throws a lot of wide shots which will leave him open for the counter.

 

Yes, as Floyd does everything better than Marquez can.

When he stepped up with the big boys, starting with that Baldomir fight, the killer side became just a legend. A stuff the *****s will always claim exist, like UFOs.

 

Technically Marquez never beat Pac. I did score it for Marquez in the second fight. Will Mayweather give Pac more problems than Marquez did? Hell yes. More skilled, better counter puncher, and better defense. I hope Pac fans are right when they say Pac has made great improvements since the second Marquez fight. If not, don't be surprised if Mayweather makes it look easy.
