So who do you think from the current active and retired fighters (who aren't trainers) would make a great boxing trainer?

Current: I feel Hopkins will make an excellent coach and could possibly be equally as famous by being a trainer, hearing him talk about boxing and watching him fight you can see the dude has got the sport mastered, he knows all the tricks, I can see him in the future having many praised fighters in his line up.

Retired: I think Tyson would make a great coach, his boxing knowledge is superb and I feel he could help mould and strengthen natural abilities (power, speed etc) already there.

Holyfield should apply his talents here before he loses his ability to do so.

    Andre Ward.

    Toney.

    Golota.

Shane Mosley looks to be going in that direction with his son.
    Bernard Hopkins.
    Juan Manuel Marquez.
    Marco Antonio Barrera.
Riddick Bowe (although he seems to be on his way to being "checked out").

I saw a interview with bowe a while back, his speech is all messed up, sadly I think he is very damaged.

Hopkins will not make for a great trainer, im not bashing him or anything but he has this ego problem which not enable him to view a fighter in terms of trying to improve them

I can imagine Bernard constantly trying to find ways to execute his own fighters

Here's a dark horse: Layla McCarter. She'll make a terrific pro trainer.
