dwyer must be a golden boy stooge. morales is finished. maidana got up from that shot which would've felled many great fighters, to give khan hell. if anyone is soft to the belly it's morales. he looked like a somalian in the last fight i saw him in, long skinny arms, big bloated belly.
You are not soft to the body if you can get up from the kind of shot Maidana did. He was hit perfectly, and got up........that is not a soft guy, that is dangerous guy.....:good
He doesn't mind going on a limb that's fore sure. Someone should remind him that the favourite generally wins in the Boxing game.
My prediction. Morales comes back for one last great performance in which he and Maidana both go down. Morales then earns a close UD/SD. Well thats my wish. In reality im just hoping he doesnt get hurt.
Morales's problem is, whilst I think he will be effective up the middle with the straight punches, which is where Maidana is open defensively, Eric Morales doesn't move much, and being that he's the smaller man, that he probably doesn't punch that hard at this weight, that Maidana can walk through a **** storm to apply pressure, you would have to worry about that aspect imo.
Dwyer is having a laugh, Khan's double body shot would have stopped a lot of fighters but not only did he get up but he went on to end the fight very well. Made me laugh when he mentioned willie limond. Maidana would kill Limond.
Well if he put a lot of money on his own advises lately, we might well see some repoman take away his computer on the end of his next vid. :yep
Haven't watched too many of his videos in detail, but he seems to notice some things that are correct but seems unable to convert from analysis to a decent prediction. Not sure if he's been fishing for views recently but didn't he pick Solomon to beat Mayweather?
The problem with a taller built guy who is going to focus on the body is that they leave their own face exposed a whole whole lot if they don't have the speed they used to. Barrera had a great kind of sneaky lead left hook to the body that he could use in close or far away, but Morales is much better with the lead left uppercut overhand right to the head because of his length. I think if he takes it to the body with more ferocity than usual his head and his stance will put him in range for a lot of punishment, especially if he is as slow early as he has looked in his last few fights. Having said that ... Morales is light years beyond Madaina in technique. If he can take the shot he should be able to outbox him, I think Morales is a bit tougher than Ortiz. Or at least, he was. If he has anything left he can win this fight.
