TOMASZ ADAMEK face to face with McBride

Arreola is a good fighter, no doubt. He is bigger (slightly) and stronger than Adamek. But even if he loses the weight and improves his punching technique, I would favor Adamek. The Adamek from Arreola fight was the best Adamek version at the moment of fight, but now he has improved a lot. Fight with McBride wont tell us anything about Adamek, because McBride is a fat bum. The September fight will be the determinant of how good fighter Adamek is or isnt. One of us will change our opinion on Adamek after his fight with Vitali.

 

I like Adamek but this is a ****ing terrible fight. Warming up to fight a Klitschko by fighting people like the ancient version of a never was is a sure fire way to get your face smashed in by either Wlad or Vit.

 

It doesnt really matter who he would be fighting at this point.He still wont get past the Klits.

 

True enough, but if he's fighting guys like Micahel Grant and Kevin McBride in the build up then even he must know he's going to get battered. If he wanted a good tune up fight he could have at least got someone like Dimitrenko.

He struggled badly & almost lost against a 20lb overweight Arreola.

Golota was old and fought with one hand yet he KO'ed McBride. Means nothing. IMO, no version of McBride could top Tomasz.
