Lucian could get owned for 12 rounds and finish it off with one body punch. I ain't sure anyone in boxing have the type of chirurgical precision that Lucian have with his liver punch. Even the haters should give Bute some credit for his uppercut to the body.

 

and don't compare guys like Hatton, Cotto and the rest of the good body punchers. These guys are usually wearing their adversary down with the amounts of punches to the body and sometimes they will get that KO punch....But Lucian is not a guy that will throw a lot of punches to the body but when one connects the body, it is deadly. Big difference here.

 

Bute is one of the most prolific body punch KO artists of recent times...
not gonna get into subjective debate of All Time and whatnots

He's drop B-level talent this way, which is impressive, and not impressive

Mexico's Kid Azteca is the Best Bodypuncher of All-Time.

Kid Azteca is the GodFather of the Left Hook to the Liver, because it was him that invented the Left-Hook-To-Liver punch.

Thats why Kid Azteca was avoided by the big name fighters and world champions in the 1930's ,1940's and 50's cause he was ripping many of his opponents with bodyshots.

Thats why Henry Armstrong and Sugar Ray Robinson ducked Kid Azteca and Kid Azteca was never given a shot at the World Titles, cause the US promotors didnt want him to dominate boxing in the lower divisions.

He was lied to many times by promoters, that if he "took dives" he'll get a chances at world titles, but it never happened.

Kid Azteca's famous left-hook-punch was later adopted by future Mexican champions like Raul Macias, Vicente Saldivar, Mando Ramos, Rodolfo "Gato" Gonzalez, Carlos Palomino, Julio Cesar Chavez, Humberto Soto, etc.

 

right now, Humberto Soto is the best bodypuncher in boxing, which is why Soto is so avoided that Pacman, JMM, EM, MAB, Robert Guerrero, Valero (when he was alive) have all ducked him.
