When does a fighter deserve to be called a road warrior?

I often think that title should be given to fighters who are fighting away with everything to lose and nothing to gain, ie a champion defending away. A challenger can be expected to travel and is travelling for their own gain, how many of them would do so as a champion with it all to lose?

Glen Johnson based in America has been given the title, but G Johnson was a almost a journeyman for large parts of his career and I cant recall G Johnson travelling where he was the fighter without something to gain ie he challenged to face Ottke for his SMW title, Branco for his SMW title, Woods twice for a vacant title, Woods again for his LHW title etc.

So who are the real Road Warriors active in boxing at this time?

I would say Froch has earnt the title in that he has fought in world title fights as champ away to J Taylor, M Kessler and is next defending away to G Johnson

I would say Kessler has earnt the title in that he has fought in world title fights as champ away to A Mundine, D Haussler and A Ward

S Cunningham is another who deserves this credit etc

So who do you consider real road warriors and why?
