Starting back!

    ok i stopped training now for 2 years and i now drink pretty heavily and smoke around 10 a day btw im only 17 my dad wants me to go back to boxing and my coach was speaking to my dad and saying i should go back, i wanna get my life back on track, i was hoping you guys could give me some motivation and tips to stop drinking and smoking.

    i hope you guys can give me some wise words

    This isn't an AA group. If you want to get off the drugs, seek professional help.

    Replacing your current vices with boxing is definitely a great idea. I hope you stick with it and can drop the drugs. You are young and have great potential if you cut that **** out. Take out your stress in the ring and stay off the streets.

    Before you do anything, get different friends. Love the people who positively influence your life and forget the rest.

    Just go back to the gym and sooner or later you'll find yourself drinking and smoking less. Especially smoking. Just doesn't work well with a fighting schedule.

    i think smoking will be a lot worse for you in a boxing sense, as in you will wanna give that up before drinking. just try and only drink on events, dont just have a beer with dinner or whatever, and then eventually you might get to the point where you dont wanna drink at all

    I gave up smoking a year ago i still sometimes smoke the odd tab on nights out but thats it. but if ur doing boxing training smoking is a no go area. as for drinking its good to let your hair down but only do it occasionally, just once a week or summat
