I see many people still slagging off the Haye v Harrison show. People use that fight as a reason for Sky Sports taking the stance they are now.

It is no one elses fault other than Audley Harrison for the way he fought.

The David Haye v Audley Harrison fight happened because the public demanded it.

David Haye v Audley Harrison, had more threads going on this and other forums than many fights have had over the years, some of you lot on here and other places are even guilty of giving Harrison a chance in the fight. Calling up the previous threads would be amusing experience for some of but very very embarassing for those of you who got caught up in the hype.

As much as the more knowledgable posters on here slag of David Haye v Audley Harrison it is also a fact that the fight grossed more viewers than many fights that have been staged over the years.

The fight had more coverage in the media than many fights over the years, why, because the public whether you like it or not were captivated by the interest the fight was generating.

Its great to be so knowledgable after the event, I will say again the only person to blame was Audley Harrison for his performance. But the fight was watched by all of us because we were intrigued by it for whatever reasons we had.

    That's right champ.

Haye got thousands of emails asking him to fight audley. Sure he did.

I love the prefight threads. I was 100% right in my analysis, the outcome and what would happen to audley. Do i feel smug? You're ****ing right I do.

There were loads of people giving Harrison a squeak in the fight, it would be hilarious to trawl the various forums calling up all the threads where people gave Harrison a chance, there werent just a couple, there were a fair few people.

Its those very people who are moaning about the fight now, shouldnt they be ccomplaining on these forums about themselves for being stupid enough to have given Harrison a chance in the first place.

The public didnt demand it, they bought into it after Sky pushed it so hard.

big difference so stop being silly.

So if Sky pushed it so hard and you are so correct, why didnt you have the courage of your convictions and refuse to watch the fight.

Sky are not complaining they made more money from that fight than some high profile fights put together.

bollocks!!! it wasn't public demand at all. people just wanted to see haye fight because the general public [the non boxing followers] had heard about him fighting giants an giving **** to these massive ivan drago type characters in the klit bro's. people just wanted to witness him. and harrisons just good a hyping himself so much he makes you think he's not a *****. im shocked haye doesn't get more **** for fighting a man who is the definition of a 'bum' in boxing terms. for legacy he should of been fighting an arreola, adamek or holyfeild to prove his worth. if harrisons name was never mentioned id of never said 'o i wonder if harrison would of beat haye' the guy wouldnt of even been given the time of day. id of rather seen him fight chisora but thats still a leap backwards.

    You're making no sense...

'courage of convictions', i simply said your thread title is a load of ****. The public DID NOT demand this fight.

    Is this incorrect?

and there was the Daily Mail claiming yesterday that the main reason for Khan-McCloskey not selling well was because of the Haye-Harrison farce.

Try trawling through the ESB Brit section. The vast majority of us called it eactly right before the fight, the really clever ****ers even got the round right (cough, cough!!).

The only thing the public demanded was their money back and the purses of these pair of fraudsters to be withheld.
