This fight could still happen now but at 36...37 by the time they would fight PBF would win I believe because of father time. My question is a prime Mosley 2000 at 147 vs last weeks PBF vs Hatton ...Who would win??? I'd take Mosley believing he would get a UD or maybe a late stoppage
Mosley never had a good defense and rarely had a plan B when he encountered problems..he wasnt that hard to outbox either...so i would go with pbf UD 12
Very close fight with a prime Shane at 147. He had the speed to hit Floyd, stay on top of him, and even the power to stun him. He would have made it a fight, that's for sure. I'd go with Mayweather by SD based on his better defense, quicker feet, and better jab/counter punching. I believe he would be landing the cleaner shots and more shots overall. But a very close fight to call. The Mosley that fought De La Hoya the first time was absolutely spectacular. Now, Floyd is stylistically a terrible fight for Shane and would win a wide decision.
I think PBF would get him now, although I would still love to see Shane try. But back when shane was in his prime, this could be one of the greater welterweight fights in history. Speed vs. Speed Mosley UD
Honestly man, I don't wanna see this fight now especially considering there is better competition in there prime. In both there primes would be a great fight but until PBF proves me wrong with beating stifer comp. I would take Mosley by UD
Prime Mosley at 147 beats Mayweather all day, lets not get too crazy over Floyd beating Hatton and a 35 year old cross dressing De La Hoya. Floyd has never fought anything like a prime Mosley or De La Hoya.
The only way Floyd will ever get stopped is if he fights too long or somebody lands an extremely powerful/extremely lucky haymaker right on the button. There is no version of Sugar Shane that would beat the Floyd we saw on December 8th.
