Didn't get a chance to see the fight. Just like to know the general opinion from people who saw it.

115-113 Morales was my card but i'll be honest a draw or a 115-113 Maidana would have also been a legit scorecard.

Maidana 7-5 was my scorecard, last 2 rounds he won the fight, epic fight though 2 warriors.

    Morales won.

Maidana fans are unrealistic, it was the same in the Khan fight, how the **** one judge had that only 1 round for khan i'll never know.

you could have scored this fight to maidana by like 1 round, but it'd be poor scorin

I had about 115-113 Morales, it was a really really close fight. Morales should of gained some respect again since everyone was calling him shot already. He overcame a lot just after round 2,It was looking real tough for him up until that point.

To add to the above, i was FULLY expecting Maidana to win, and at the start the fight was going exactly as i thought, but then after that I couldnt belive my eyes at morales.

I thought the decision was OK, and I didn't score it myself.

But.. I think a draw would have been fair, also.

Morales getting a decision wouldn't have been fair.

Had Morales by one point. I was quite impressed with Erik's defence to be honest, the wide shots that Maidana was firing away with when he tried to pressure Erik were hardly effective or landing. Morales on the other hand was looking good with the jab and when he put his punches together he was actually bullying Maidana.

To be fair to Maidana though, he had much more in the tank towards the end of the fight and swept the last two. His workrate was quite high no matter how ineffective he was. Robbery is a term that get throws around a bit too much here and this decision certainly wasn't a robbery, however the scorecards were far to wide from that fool Roth and the other geezer.

it was a draw at the very least... morales could've narrowly won it due to clean punching and effective agression.

I favored Morales clean, acurate punching over Chino's sloppy attacks... but Eric gave away the last two rounds and let it slip away.

The decision was OK... although a draw would have been nice imo.
