    WBA/WBO interim-lightweight champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (29-1, 18KOs) believes he is ready to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25KOs), says Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer. Guerrero returned to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night, and won a bruising twelve round unanimous decision over Michael Katsidis.


    "[Robert Guerrero] put everyone at 140 and 147 on notice. He is ready to fight any and everyone. And the name he mentiond to me, and I asked him twice. The name he mentioned to me is 'Pretty Boy' Floyd Mayweather. That's who he wants. He has the skills, the youth, the speed and everything to make a big impact at the 140 and 147 pound weight classes," Schaefer said.

    Got a lot of respect for Guerrero wanting anybody up to 147 , for a former FW , that takes bollocks , and you can tell this guy aint talkin **** , he means it

    Yeah they are just promoting Guerrero by mentioning Mayweathers name. Mayweather should get paid for people mentioning his name.

    Guerrero should not make the mistake of calling out Floyd. Floyd is a warrior and he will accept the challenge of Guerrero.
