People were predicting him to take over the world after he dismantled Kevin Mitchell in 3 rounds last year, now back to back losses are seeing people calling for him to retire. He must have taken a lot of internal damage from his last 2 fights, but remember he fought the two best fighters in the world at this weight, no shame in losing to those, especially the brave way in which he conducted himself. The thing about Katsidis is I think he beats everybody in that division EXCEPT Marquez and Guerrero, get him back in England against John Murray I say, or perhaps start campaigning at 140 ? What do you guys think?
There's always a market for a fighter like Katsidis, I wouldn't mind seeing him in a rematch with diaz though
Its not just marqeuz and guerreros style though hes lost to diaz aswel who is hardly similar to either of them stylistically. I wish Katsidis could win a title but the beatings hes going to take from these top tier guys are just not worth the possibility of him winning a belt. Great guy, exciting fighter but just not elite. Its a shame but its just the way it is now keep him away from fighters like jmm and guerrero and top guys and let him make a good living in exciting fights which dont end up with him permanently damaged in the way that more fights like his last two will
why? that was kinda boring, diaz resorted to outboxing katsidis using his jab and boxing skills. katsidis should come to the UK and sign with frank warren, he'll make millions ko'ing the domestics.
I agree there's definitely a market for him here.... Also Murray vs Katsidis, Mitchel vs Katsidis 2 would be good sellers too! Maybe if he even steps up and fights against the likes of Mccloskey and Gavin could be made.
Murray would actually die in a fight with Katsidis. Katsidis vs Maidana, Katsidis vs Rios i would cream my pants to see these.
Miguel Acosta and Brandon Rios would beat Katsidis. Soto and Antillon would give him good fights as well
Murray has a far higher chance of beating or at least staying with kats compares to mitchel. More natural at the weight IMO.
