Ortiz is going to destroy Berto Discuss.

I think Berto is underrated. (yes, you heard me right, underrated). He was toe to toe with Collazo (another underrated fighter in my book) and never backed down. He destroyed Quintana. I think Ortiz (an overrated fighter in my book) will get his ass handed to him.

 

it's the other way round man. we already know ortiz is a hype job with no heart for the tough fights. berto has atleast toughed out a win over collazo, and beaten quintana who are above ortiz's level. i say berto kills him. he better fight aydin next and not another bum or hype job

I pick Berto, but Berto fails to KO when I feel with his talent and speed, he should annihalate people. And Ortiz does have very good power, I could see Andre walking into a straight left or hook and at the very least looking stupid or getting dumped.

The whole heart thing may be overated a tad bit, just cause he quit once doesn't mean every fight Ortiz hypothetically loses is by quittage. He could just get schooled, beat down, or KO'd. Hes probly gotten so much **** for quitting that he'll do something stupid or go out on his shield purposely when hes losing to redeem himself. Duran quit too.


But yea I pick Berto, hes just too damn fast for someone without an equal offensive arsenal/great chin/great defense.

Ortiz has to catch Berto early, like say RDs 1-4. Otherwise, he's ****ed.

As soon as Berto starts to land heavy leather, Ortiz will be out of his element. This can happen at any point in the fight.

I see Berto landing some crisp, HEAVY shots on Ortiz. Enough to force a stoppage.

 

Berto should beat him down with his speed and power, but Berto is not perfect by any means.

Ortiz needs to be able to weather the storm, and use his height advantage. Never mind those big power shots, the jab is his true key to victory.

This could be a real war, both fast dangerous punchers, both quite open defensively. I'd give the edge to Berto with his speed, Berto KO in a war
