Lennox doesn't have the Chin, heart, or mentality that Holmes had.

Holmes never lost in his Prime either and certainly not by brutal and embarrassing KO to two mediocre fighters like Lennox did.

For those reason I pick Holmes who was a very blue collar workmanlike fighter. They don't make them like Larry Holmes anymore.

H2h,this is obvious. In 1992,a waaaaaaay past it 43 year old (some say shot)Larry Holmes convincingly beat 31 year old Ray Mercer by utilizing guile. In 1996,31 year old old Lennox Lewis BARELY(some say didn't)beat 35 year old Mercer as 6'1" 77 reach Mercer outjabbed his far bigger opponent throughout a good portion of the fight. If shorter, slower and less talented than Holmes Mercer can outjab Lewis, what the hell does anyone think that an ATG heavyweight jabber like Holmes-who is taller, has a longer reach and a much higher boxing IQ than Ray-is going to do with his jab against Lewis?

Holmes was pretty much waaaaay past it at that point. That was proved in his 2 bouts against Michael Spinks.

    Holmes. Holmes. Holmes.
Any imbecile who cites the Tyson fight doesn't deserve to comment on boxing. Holmes was not only way past it, he was out of the ring for years, and had very little preparation for the fight.

Holmes beat all comers in his 20 + title defenses ,whereas Lewis avoided klitchkho return, simply put holmes never got koed by mediocre fighters like has-been Rah man ,Oliver stoned McCall.

Holmes has been known for the best Jab ever where as the Lennox is still undefeated...Both are really tough contenders and they both don't want to let off this opportunity. In my view the Lewis is going to win this match.

Lewis' resume is more solid than is Holmes'. Lewis fought and beat a better level of competition. Lewis willingly fought the best contenders of his time. Lewis avenged both of his defeats. Lewis chased unification. As great as Holmes was as a fighter, Lewis simply did more as a heavyweight champion. Lewis should be ranked higher!

Holmes. Like someone else said, when he went down, but he got up - and won, he didn't need no rematch. If LL tasted a Shavers bomb -and chances are he would- it's ball game over. Holmes out jabs Lennox and out moves him. He would win points or mid to late ko. Lewis is best since the easton assassin though.
