They aren't the only ones doing it but they are consistent. I went to one of Khans' early fights, on the undercard (though he went on last) of Clinton Woods/Glenn Johnson, and I remember them all gathering in a bunch and shouting at the small collection of fans the designated punching bag of the night had brought with him. I didn't see them fighting, just acting intimidating and like a bunch of dicks generally. Others on here have related similar stories, it won't be shown on camera because crowd fights never are usually, the Malinaggi weigh in thing being an exception. You seem reluctant to believe anything negative about your muslim pals but I know what I've seen. And yes, they are a long, long way from the only ones causing trouble, hence the possibility of trouble. I was at the Mag 7 show in Birmingham and as everyone knows it really kicked off between Birmingham cities firm and a group of Welsh fans after the Zulus started taunting them when Enzo lost. There were a **** load of coppers outside to stop it continueing after the fights finished. If Mccloskey has a similar following, football related, religious, just really drunk or whatever, and one side pushes the other it could really get ugly. It probably won't most boxing matches go off without crowd problems but there's some combustable elements to this one that could possibly lead to problems.
Everytime there's a big card on in the UK this place is awash the following day with stories of violence in the crowd. EVERY big card i've ever been to kicks off. Not necessarily big trouble but certainly enough to ruin the night for innocent bystanders close by to the incident. Nothing to do with race, particular fighters or anything else. Drink-fuelled and full of testosterone having watched men engaging in combat leads some lads (IN GROUPS I MAY ADD) to think they're invincible. Not saying it'll be a huge ruckus but you mark my words, lads will be kicking off at the MEN this weekend. GUARANTEED
I've never seen any trouble ever at boxing shows in Ireland (Dublin, Belfast, Limerick). I've only ever being at one show in Great britain (Magnificent seven) and there was trouble there. If there is trouble on Saturday it will be the British fans who cause it (In my opinion) This content is protected
I dont know with Khan fans and the muslamic infidel's , i have heard they have got 'Muslamic Ray guns'.
Lets not forget the Sandy Row Sikhs!!! Prap prap prap! In truth I have never seen ANY trouble EVER at an Irish show, plenty of drink taken as well and still no trouble. There just isnt the same culture of chavvy "lets ave it" football hooligans that can spill over into boxing with the coked up casuals. It's embarrassing and is a cancer in British boxing.
it would be worse if it was khan vs murray, murray in manchester is viewed among many as the great white hope ppl want to see him beat up khan and its more then just supporting a local manchester lad, if i'm not mistaken whenever murray fights at home a large section of his fans start with the racist chants about khan.
