at least if its a fiver and people pull out of fights the last minute or sky only shows highlights of certain fights then atleast a fiver is'nt that much to moan over really whereas £15 is.

No chance they will get close to 1million viewers. You realsie 275,000 is a record for regular boxing on Sky?

You can't really base your whole business strategy around people pulling out.

It does happen a lot in boxing, but thats why you've got to pick your main events correctly if you're primetime. They need to hold up on their own and tempt boxing fans into paying a decent amount.

If you're aiming to draw in casuals with a cheapy PPV you're setting yourself up for mediocrity in the end. You'll just end up getting similar buys from hardcore fans at a lesser price. You have to know what product you've got and who you're selling it to. You're selling under the radar boxing matches to haardcore fans, on a channel thats tucked away. That's not a time to be flogging them off as if you've got a large potential market, you just havn't if your primetime.

Frank may have plans for Chisora to vacate and go for the Euro strap.

He will have to wait for the Euro title, purse bids have been called for Dimitrenko vs Mormeck, for June time, Chisora needs to get back in the ring it been out of the ring 7 months already

Mick is desperate, Fury is his last hope. Barker and Murray have left him, Daws and O Donnell have lost their belts. Froch has seemingly had enough of him.

Wish Frank Warren would've coughed up abit more for it as im sure he would've put a decent undercard with this fight headlining.

But oh well at least this fight gets made and Chisora slaps that fat tub of lard into the mediocrity where he belongs.

That was my first thought.Fat Mick may be introuble unless he has a deal with local TV in his back pocket. He is not as well backed as Warren.:good

My thought too... Warren usually only loses purse bids when he has no interest in the fight going ahead in the first place. Groves-DeGale is an obvious exception.

Stick it on a big card and charge £15. I watch it with mates, say five of us end up watching then it costs us the price of a pint down the local each.

I agree that cheaper PPV cards are going to put people off who think it's a weak match-up and more worryingly I think it would start an unhealthy trend of fights we would normally see on Sky going to Primetime etc for a fiver a pop.

I'm glad Mick won it. Make it all the sweeter when Del Boy pole axes that clown.
