Fox reports that Garth Wood has announced that he will never box in Qld again. Hope you read this Garth, from what I saw last night, you are still yet to box in Queensland. You brawled, you charged, you held, you wrestled you did plenty but the one thing you didn't do was the one thing you'll never do, and that's BOX! Shocking fight between two blokes that showed without a doubt what their limitations are. Blame the Ref, blame whoever you like, last night was a good indication of what spin and hype are capable of in this sport. Milham handled the fight as well as anyone could have considering the ugly spectacle that these two seemed determined to put on. Both should go away and leave the sport of boxing to boxers!

You are preaching to the converted pal, the fight lived up to everything that we (didn't) expected , Truth is the general Aussie public thought it was a barn burner worthy of a trilogy atsch. I'll give Wood some respect, he actually took the fight up to a washed up Mundine, something the legend killer could'nt. :think
mundine was in the best form of his life when he fought the "legend killer" though, i dont think many people would have beaten him that night to tell the truth , it was his best performance imo
True, that was a prime Mundine................... Around the same time he even won 2rds out of 12 against Kessler...:good
Must admit, the grappling, shoving and general wrestling was a bit on the nose. Having said that, for mine, Mundine certainly did enough to win that fight on points. As for a career resurrection.....fat chance. He'd be better off retiring from here. Any future fight against a half decent ranked fighter will only see Mundine humiliated. The game's up Choc. Hang em' up.
this.i dont know if its injuries,age whatever his hand speed is still ok but not near what it was i would say 30% less,his footwork is **** someone like Wood wouldnt win a round against him 4 years ago.hes declined badly since Geale and Medley the last fights i seen of him.if he fights Green........:tomb
