It wouldnt really be a duck unless Mosley decided to pick up a title at 154 and Martinez agreed to a 154 weight.

There's no outrage about Shane ducking Sergio, because Sergio hasn't called him out.

Shane would fight him at 154, and he's clever enough to stay away from anywhere near 160.

And yeah, Pacquiao would certainly have the style to beat Martinez, he's a relentless little guy with serious pop and crazy stamina. Martinez takes breathers sometimes and Pacquiao would not let him take em.

The problem is, Martinez is huge, he walks around at 175-180lbs minimum, whereas Manny is 150 tops.

Martinez would probably lay Manny out, Manny is too much of a warrior, he's gonna "test" Martinez power, and that'd be his demise.

He's gonna "test" Mosleys power aswell, lets just hope Mosley don't catch him cold early and lay him out.

The silly thing is when people say or imply that Manny is afraid to fight Martinez. At some point it's not cowardice to say I just can't fight guys any bigger than a certain size. He's really a junior welterweight (and former flyweight beltholder) who has the skills to beat the welterweights and some jr. middleweights. But not Martinez probably.

So? Any man that freely gives the bigger and stylistically awful Winky Wright a shot when Winky wasn't necessarily deserving of one can't really be accused of being a ducker?

I also don't see why anyone would take calls of Manny ducking sexy Sergio seriously?

    Super flyweight.

He was 139lbs on the night against Morales in their first fight. I can't find any report on him against Barrera in their first outing. But I'm pretty sure he was around 138-139 that night aswell.

Manny Pacquiao has been around 140ish for a long long time, he won't go many lbs over 150, tops.

The key to his success isn't that he's "carried power up", he's just at his natural weight now, whereas opponents are bigger, he's a puncher at 140ish. Probably wouldn't be a puncher in his 150s, and my bet is he wouldn't be close to a real puncher in his 160lbs.

So then, how on earth is he gonna match a guy who comes into the ring in his damn near 170s, like Martinez? :-(

    Or WW

which is what he is now. Its funny how *******s say he is too small for MArtinez and is truly only a LW-LWW yet when JMM gets mentioned they say the fight has to be at 147 because Pac will struggle getting down to 140.

    WHich one is it!?!?

I doubt Mosley still fighting for just money.

The man has gotten huge paydays in career.

    Dela Hoya 1

    Dela Hoya 2

    The Mayweather fight.

And now this fight with Pacquiao.

Hes just has the hunger that just wont go away

I bet 90% of that money is gone though. Jinkee was a cancer to him and it sounds like she wants more since the divorce.

JMM had to wait 2 years for a rematch, and has now waited 3 years for Manny to fight him.

Travesty, the fight should just be made at 140lbs. Manny does not come in at more than 149lbs come fight night, so why would 140 be a problem?

The problem is, JMM is still delivering, despite his age. They're OBVIOUSLY waiting for father time to catch up with Juan, then they'll probably give him a shot.

If JMM fought Erik Morales and looked bad in winning, I bet Manny would've had him signed for fight immediately.
