Definitely. They are the stars now, they are the big name. But saying that, I don't believe they should be able to abuse that power. Pacquiao v Cotto was a catchweight because Team Pacquiao didn't know how he was going to fare. Same with Margarito.

Now we know how Marquez fares at WW if/when he bulks up. They should maybe meet in the middle to make a point. It shouldn't affect Pacquiao in the slightest, but like I said, the point will be, "We have asked for catchweights in the past...we are now not too good/big to accept a catchweight stipulation to meet in the middle for our opponent."

It comes down to your last sentence though, is Marquez entitled to a rematch. In the past, definitely...now?...

jmm is unproven also at 140 so at 140 or 147, it doesn't make sense. the thing is, jmm is still making noise, but at 135 which is 2 divisions below where pac is. jmm has no leverage to force pac to fight at 140. he is not even a champion there. he should have fought khan instead of katsidis when it was offered to him.

there is no much demand for jmm-pac also. when a poll was done here in ESB, they wanted to see pac-berto more than pac-jmm or pac-mosley combined.

pacquiao is more natural at 140, but he is comfortable coming at weight around 144 and being 148 on fight night. jmm could come in at 140 if he wants and be 145 on fight night just like the katsidis fight. 3 pounds difference is nothing when we know that pac has 4 pounds over jmm during the rematch and jmm almost got the win.

and what's the compalin about pac-jmm not happening? we know that all jmm has to do is switch to TR and he will get the fight after pac wins over mosley. but i guess jmm is weighing his option with GBP.

you know that's not the problem. Juan was twice as awesome at featherweight and superfeatherweight than he is now but Pac fought him at those weights. The problem is that Juan is under GBP. had juan made a move like Shane did, we'd be watching Pac-JMM III on May 7
