[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tAEgdGnvEA&feature=player_embedded[/ame] Here's an audio from both fighters dissing each other. I'll appreciate it if somebody can translate it so others can understand it. I'm kind of late right and don't have time right now.
"what I have to say about that gentleman is that, he left the fame come into his home, his team is mediocre, you team most keep it real like my father and Zabala has done with me, he is living in a movie, I had nothing to envy about him I had sweat what I have, I'm happy for him he has work hard for his kids, so you have to admired that, then he can continue with his work and I'll will do mine, he have to respect me like a person and a man and don't try to cross the line (or been an smart a$$) I'm not a lactose baby, I'm a kid from the street and I'll leave boxing aside when I have to talk like a man, I have my thing in the proper place (he is talking about his balls) don't leave the fame go to your head, what God give you God can take it away, and more when you leave behind the ppl that has sacrifice everything for you, because of money and fame, then he send his wishes that he can continue with his triumphs and I got tired. Juanma "I don't care where he fights, I don't need to fight on Pacquio's events, I go to his house and I make my own event, I don't care what he says, unlike him, I don't charge $5.00 for my fights, he can talk to Tuto Zabala to pay me what I want.
I got this from the ......scene. WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez may have been a diplomat when discussing this Saturday's opponent Orlando Salido, but he was fired up when discussing the subject of fellow unbeaten Puerto Rican Wilfredo 'Papito' Vazquez Jr., who is the current WBO super bantamweight champion. Juanma is upset with some rather strong comments that Vazquez made about him on ESPN. "I don't like to give promotion to anybody, so this is the last time that I'm going to talk about him. Wilfredo Vázquez Jr. made some strong comments about me, that there is arrogance in me. He said that my team is mediocre. I regret that he is not here so I can tell him to his face, that if my team is mediocre, well this is the same team that helped make him a world champion," Juanma said. "I am not arrogant. I'm really cool with everybody. [Vazquez's promoter] Tutico Zabala doesn't take my six figures. I am a fighter who takes my money. I know what I'm worth and we can fight next." Lopez reminded him that Peter Rivera and Bob Arum are part of his team "and they made you a world champion." "And he made comments about where my fights are staged but the Roberto Clemente and the Rubén Rodriguez are two of the best theaters in Puerto Rico. At the Roberto Clemente is where Muhammad Ali fought. And the Ruben Rodriguez is where he became a champion. He said that I was never a part of the large events and he is part of the Pacquiao undercard, well I was part of the undercard to Pacquiao's fight with Oscar De La Hoya at the MGM Grand. He talks about where I came from, I am humble and I have built myself from the bottom." http://www.***********.com/juanma-hits-back-wilfredo-vazquez-jr-tension-builds--38098
Wise words by WV2 , JML has to be the more overrated boxer in the history of Puerto Rican boxing , all he has is a good punch , and have been fighting tomato cans from the begining of his career . Now he goes against Salido next Saturday , he thinks Salido will be a walkover for him ..... mmmm I don't think so , Salido is a very strong and durable fighter that can cause an upset , I think the JML express can get derrailed this weekend .....
i didnt see this coming,i believed they were good friends. Hope Rigondeaux doesnt get upset with gamboa
Miguel cotto gave this Advice to both from his twitter reguarding this subject, i translated the best i could. "It is unfortunate that two luminaries of the sport in our country who are now beginning to give glory to Puerto Rico are wrapping in a dispute like this. Call me nosey but Wilfredo, Juanma, do not let shine above all our professionalism we are athletes who will provide glory and good times to PR that we all miss. Let the ignorance aside and get to work. As said Wilfredo, he does his stuff there and I have mine around here. You are quite right the sport of boxing is big enough for both to have their careers and between them and together they make of the most brilliant careers in the future and the benefit of yourselves, our PR and last but far more important to their families! At the end of the road and all we have and are and will be the only people who would have remembered you all your life regardless of the seat in which they are both. I apologize for intruding but is the greatest desire and the best advice I can give you both. Juanma Much success to your bout next Saturday and throughout your career. Wilfredo same to you much much success. Listen to your father in these matters for he knows more than us together, because many years ago he walked down the same road on which we stand and where we have to go. Both my most sincere best wishes and blessings!!!" Miguel cotto...
vazquez jr is just trying to get publicity for his career using juanmas name... vazquez is the one that is arrogant and talks a lot of **** since starting in boxing... he better worry about himself and about his association with angelo millones.. feds are watching him.. :hat
