Why is this martinez being a ***** for calling out welterweights and jr. Welterweights when he could weigh 170+ lbs on fight night?

Neither Mayweather nor Pac can do 154lbs. The only reason Mayweather went up to 154lbs is because of money, simple as that. By fighting ODLH, Mayweather was making the biggest payday of his career, fought there and then moved down again. Pac was kind of diffrent. Pac did it for "legacy" by conquering another belt at a diffrent weight class, not so much for money since he, Pac, is the one bringing in all the money. Then Pac moved down again to 147lbs.

Its just that some people don't understand as to why they both really moved up in weight and used the "he fought a 154lbs once" excuse.

If Martinez could make 150lbs just like Margo, he'd get a career-ending beatdown administered on him by 144lber and former flyweight Manny Pac lol.

I think floyd could fight at 154, he seemed pretty big vs mosley.
I eve think he could pick up a catchweight belt at 157 like pac did vs margarito.

Martinez lost 4 rounds in a row to a Pavlik who checked out of Rehab 12 days before the fight. You're nuts if you think Martinez is more skilled than PAC.

For martinez's last 2 fights , 30 days before weigh in he is around 175-184 pounds. People who whine about PAC not fighting him are simply ******ed haters.

you mean every welterweight is avoiding? Which is pretty much understandable given his size, its the same **** with martinez. He has now officially replace williams, the guy every welterweight is avoiding

but if martinez is willing to go down to 150 same as marg and pac still avoided him then it is officially a duck!

You ain't gonna make 20 Million fighting Andre Ward or Paul Williams. I think a great fight for Sergio where he could get 10 Million would be to fight Froch at a catch weight of 162lbs. Now that would be a very interesting matchup. I think they could definitely get a 11 - 15 M purse bid!

Floydie fights his opponents very comfortably when they are at 154 and 160lbs. He throws a lot more punches( in the gym) against these guys and is a lot more successful against bigger guys than smaller ones sparring. He fights at the lower weights because of money. Often Floyd doesn't even prefer to spar with smaller guys. But boxing being what it is 147lbs is key for paydays!

He is to big. Martinez is in his prime now. This isn't a big fighter with no skill(Marg). I wouldn't advise him to fight Martinez at all.

Why, Because Pac has never had any problem with fast and clever boxers? Or because he never had any problem with punchers?

Exactly. I think that Martinez is too big for Pac, and I do not hold it against Pac for not wishing to fight him under these circumstances.

I agree, skillwise he cold hold his own against anyone 154/160, its size that could be a problem. I believe if he had lost his 0 he would be more keen to take on challenges.

I don't think Pac is ducking Martinez, he is too big for him, read my post.
