How come there is little excitement for Berto vs Ortiz?

The Khan fight is nothing to get excited about, though it should be decently entertaining, if only to see Khan display his speed and combination punching. And, of course, there's always the possibility of a freak KO with Khan's chin. I'm psyched for the Berto v Ortiz fight. Berto's going to bring the hurt: tko 5.

Anyway, I wanted to ask....where is the HYPE for Ward vs Abraham?

Anyone else excited for that fight?

 

Berto/Ortiz will be interesting at least for the first couple of rounds, because that's the Ortiz danger zone. Here's an interesting fact:

Since the Arnaoutis fight Ortiz has at the very least dropped every one of this opponents one time, if not KO'ED them.

Now, if the fight ends up going beyond four or five rounds, that's when it can turn into a stinker, because I believe Victor is anything but "vicious" from the 6th round onwards.

 

I think the khan fight is just to stay busy, to keep khan ready for bradley. As for the ortiz/berto fight im meh about it. Ill still probably watch it though.

 

I'm excited about this bout! and as time goes on I've been getting more excited about this fight. I really want to see Berto fight a real WW / MW like Shane or sergio because I think he's got that kind of skill. And Victor needs a rematch with Maidana and I think he wins. but I did think that it was a little strange that they're going at each other. But it's a nice match up!

 

I'm ready to see Ortiz in his retirement bout on Sat.

 

I'm up for this fight. One of the most relevant fight in recent months.

 

I'm excited as hell to see this fight. This fight is a must win for both fighters. The loser can pretty much say goodbye to star status.

 

Really could care less about Berto/Ortiz

 

thats cas he wanted to box....fighting can be a means to improve it doesn't always have to be just about looking for a ko

oh and theres no such thing as running if you're throwing punches

in fairness,khans chin was put to the test against maidana and he survived.i honestly don't think he has those problems anymore

 

I'm betting v-cash on Ortiz by KO. We'll discuss after the fight but I don't think that Ortiz need to trade with him to KO him. He will box and will try to catch him with something big.

I dont rate Ortiz,I dont think he has much that will bother Berto.It will end up looking as mismatch in my opinion.Cant get interested in it,dont even know if its on UK tv.
