Smoking Joe did the most with the least IMO.

Exactly. Ali was probably twice the all around athlete Joe was, but it didn't stop Joe from being the one to hand him that first L and give him hell over 3 fights. :deal

I don't think Joe was anything, athletically speaking, that hadn't been in the division since the turn of the century- his great success is proof of how overrated it can be if you're talented enough at boxing. You just need to be athletic enough for it not to be a glaring weakness and stop you from using your skills.

That said, I still like watching **** like this lol. They should totally bring this back. Maybe we can get Floyd and Pac to square off in the 100 meters or military press, at least.

 Damn, I thought for sure Frazier would have smoked those first two guys in the 100 yard dash.

160 lb push press! Incomprehensibly weak...

The fact that Joe struggled to push press 160 lbs. shows me that he really was not that strong.

Reggie White push pressed 385 lbs with shitty technique. A superstars record!

Very impressive to muscle up that kind of weight with little leg drive. It is probably on Youtube, I am too lazy to search for it.

Joe Bugner was in 1973 British Superstars competition. Sprints, swimming, shooting and stuff.

Apparently he was a very quick sprinter when he was younger, and was a junior discuss champion.

Here is Lou Ferrigno The Incredible Hulk vs Brian Oldfield Former World record holder shot put weightlifting in the 1978 Superstars Comp.

Oldfield easily got 310 and the contest ended. I wonder how more he could of done? Oldfield previously set the record at 300 lbs and did 5 reps when all he needed was one.

Thank you. The overhead press may very well be the best indicator for upper body strength. 160 pounds is weak as hell, though, by today's standards.

:nonoNo way they'd do this now, too many sportsmen are insured for too high an amount.

That video just goes to show you just how much physically weaker the heavy weights were back then, Frazier could only lift 160 Lbs/ 72kg. That would be utterly nothing to a great HW today, **** even I could lift far more than that and I am not a pro athlete.
