man,iam starting not 2 like what arum is saying and the way he is handled this issue.
yeah,i know that arum has been BS with the whole thing from the start, but

    saying he likes juanma's personality,,
saying it only can happen at 130.knowing very well that the extra 4 pounds would benefit juanma, per say, since it has been said juanma struggles a bit to get to 126.plus to try to throw a wrinkle in gamboa's hot streak.

now if they both move up and fight at 130,...then what belts or if any would they be fighting for???,..an intrem belt??,..some vacated meaningless soup belt???,....
it would mean more if there where atleast 2 belts on the line,..
at 126 would be perfect, but if they move up,..then,....????????????
they should fight each the 130 champs and take belts in each in jan or feb of 2012,..then put there belts on the line around june or july,...
so it might seem mr arum has more fights, delays and hidden agenda
for this fight, but whats new with arum right?,...

i know 1 thing and that's it really seems arum wants juanma to win, cause
he sells more tickets then gamboa, despite bieng the least exciting of the 2.
unfortunately, buisness is 1st in this cut throat world.
with that said,...iam concearned that arum will resort to extreme sabatoge
and somehow throw wrinkles, drauma, problems, etc into gamboa's training camp.

in conclusion i feel arum wont make the fight happen, until he feels
    strongly secure about juanm's chances.

He certainly feels Juanma is a bigger attraction and has the potential to get bigger, especially with the PR market.

I dont think he wants to risk Juanma losing to Gamboa, who has a smaller upside and is not (yet) a big draw.

Arum doesnt want to risk Juama losing to Gamboa at this point. He will keep them apart for as long as possible.

Yes it seems so. Lopez has been matched with the opponents who have the potential to make him a bigger star, i.e. Ponce De Leon, Gerry Penalosa, Steven Lueveno, Conception, and Marquez, all of whom had at least some established name on television. By contrast Gamboa was facing guys like anonymous Jose Rojas and Walter Estrada.

He probably is. More fans, more upside for Arum at the box office.

But the other reason it might seem this way is that every year that goes by without the fight happening favors JuanMa. He can keep improving to a greater degree than Gamboa can. We can pretty much thank Rogers Mtagwa for bringing Arum around to the idea of delaying this fight until 2015.

You have a point in that Arum wants JML to win, he is the sole promoter of Lopez and he co-promote Gamboa with Onet, you have to ask why Gamboa didn't defend his IBF Belt? Because the #1 ranked is Garcia and his brother didn't want him to fight Gamboa, he said he was not ready for the Cyclone just yet, so he will make that fight for the IBF now but not against Gamboa, he will pick a cab driver from Tijuana and pitch him against Garcia, this way he will have Garcia and Lopez and part of the WBA with Gamboa.

All Arum have to do is start promoting Gamboa's fights in Miami and all of his ticket selling problems will be solved. Peace.

Or if they stage the fight in Cuba I'm pretty sure it will fill the biggest stadium in the world.
