I think Diaz could do alright in boxing and I think Omar can do great in MMA. I feel Omar will do A LOT better in MMA than he would have done in boxing. Omar had very good boxing skills for a young prospect but didn't see him being a champion. However....I absolutely see him being a champion in MMA.

As a boxing fan I'm actually rooting for Diaz to do better than Henry.

That might seem counter-intuitive, but think about it.

Yeah, yeah...Henry doing well serves as a short-term payoff for boxing fans to go "Oh look, our guys can come over and do well in your easy-peasy sport anytime :tong" - but that isn't the endgame.

If Diaz does well, especially as a very public and largely followed figure on the MMA scene (and a role model to shitloads of young fighters) it opens the floodgates for people to make the jump to boxing seeking the better paydays and the influx of new talent - or at least, deepening of the existing talent pool - could be a shot in the arm for the sport and lead to some good match-ups down the line, dispelling the #1 argument in the case for MMA over boxing: that more & better match-ups demanded by the fans materialize in the former than the latter.

Diaz could actually kill MMA. :happy

Wasn't Omar one of the most vocal people after Toney got raped in the octagon saying how MMA was gay and anyone that did it was also a ******?

Henry is bi-polar and as unstable as they come.
