He faked his age dude. He said that he was 19 so they'll let him fight.

That's what I mean. It makes the bolded seem even stronger if his followers can believe he never even laced up as an amateur.

I remember hearing about the dead friend story. His friend dying was supposed to be what pushed him over the age and made him become a boxer.

He had amateur fight not like the u.s he never fought, national, olympic level fight. The Kid was never a highly decorated champion or rep P.I. ( Philippine, Islands) in overseas competition, he went pro at 16. Pretty much the scouts were not too impre ss with the crudeness of his work?

What alot of people dont realize is amatuar boxing in third world countrys are alotmore dangerous then pro fights. People get seriously hurt or die very little regulation. Your lucky if theres a point system in place as most contest is determined by whos standing after the fight

We are not talking age here. We are talking 'bout Pac's amateur level of experience which is basically nothing. If you watch Pac's 1st fight he looked like a 6th grader FFS tell me how can that boy make use of such experience? PAC was gifted with power and learned the tools of the trade fighting Pro. In fact when he won against sasakul he was way behind the score cards cause that's how one dimensional of a fighter PAC was. He relied mostly on his left.

    He turned pro at 16.

If he had 60 plus amateur fights, where would you fit it? 12 fights every year since 12 years old?

pretty sure he turned pro at 15 not 16

also you have to realise in these local amateur tournaments sometimes they can fight 3-4 fights in a single day.

It is not really amateur as we know it. It is more of a street fight with other kids mostly from the neighborhood. Nobody really organizes it. It starts as "can you beat this guy". Bets are sometimes placed. It is well known that Pac usually come home with groceries from this kind of fight.
