I had to check that it wasnt Pernell Whittaker we were watching in there after hearing what McCloskeys trainer had to say:lol:

I think McCloskey has a style similar to Andre Dirrell in that he wont do an awful lot himself in the fight but he will dodge punches and generally make his opponent look a lot worse than he is. Khan wasnt great tonight but he would have got the job done probably via a clear points victory.

Loads of people will want a rematch but I dont think we would see anything different if there was one. It was always going to be a fight that was high risk/low reward and Khan wont want to take that chance again and to be honest there are bigger fish to fry in Bradley and if all goes well a move up to 147. McCloskey didnt do himself any harm tonight so maybe we havnt seen the last of him at world level.

Spot on Uppercut. He talks of a Mayweather fight, but could hardly tag Dudey! Ridiculous, the boy has lots to learn.

Anyone know when the US cards start?

Quite annoyed at the sour Irish fans on Dudey's FB page. Never seen so much delusion.

do any of you ever watch boxing, most of you ****s were saying khan would do a salita on him:lol:
now, when he was made to look poor, you ****s bring up as many excuses as you can think of.
khan may of won the fight, but as any boxing fan knows,it aint over until the last bell, look at froch/taylor, moroyga/mosley,to name 2,the rounds were even close, they were not a shut out, look at mayweather/gatti,now that was a ****ing shut out.

this game is corrupt enough, that was one of the worst endings to a fight ive seen, ive had worse cuts on my dick after sex(for those of you who are still virgins, like laz and lex,its when you place your snake in the cave),the doctor looked embarrassed to have stopped the fight. khans team are corrupt end of story, and read into that what ever you little morons want to make of it:good

Khan still doesn't seem a natural timer of punchers. He doesn't seem to measure range very well or time them correctly. It's very rare you see a snappy compact punch by Khan and I think thats why his power is average as well. It reeks of throw everything as fast as I can and hope some of them hit. Even against Maidana, you saw Erik Morales hurt him to the head more than Khan ever did with compact punching, whereas Khan just flurries and windmills away.

agree totally, and i think it was you who described it as doggie paddle type flurries which is a spot on comparisson, very hard to get any sort of power into punches thrown like that and you rarely see him pick a punch and really sit on it using his legs and whole body to get through it, and whilst throwing these flurries he leaves himself very open for the counter which a better opponent will take advantage of and it wouldnt surprise me if it will be Bradley

When Khan takes his time and chooses his punches he can look very good. As he did in the early part of the Maidana fight. But more often than no, as he has done virtually his entire career, he wades in with machine gun fire on a suicide mission.

Prescott put him down, Maidana should've done. Amir Khan is a boxing car crash waiting to happen once again. All this sparring talk and redesigned style were not on display tonight.

And his attitude overall during this promotion hasn't been the best. If he wants to fight, only, in America then I don't think many people over here will lose sleep.

He had taken one step forward but has now taken two back. I doubt DLH will go for the Bradley fight. I still think they'll bait Morales or Marquez in the vain hope that Bradley gets snookered by another opponent.

You have to read something into the fact he was overextending, off balance, not throwing a jab, squaring himself up, punching incorrectly. They were all basic technical flaws that were horrific tonight. If they don't read something into it they're papering over some very large cracks and preparing themselves for failure against somebody with a clue (i.e. Timothy Bradley).

McCloskey was shockingly poor tonight. It was a awful call by ref and doc but McCloskey was never ever going to win.

Dudey is awkward. But in his last fight he was up against Barry Morrison and Khan was fighting Maidana.

Khan had promised us a redesigned style thanks to all this glorious sparring and Roachwork but he looked nothing more than an amateur tonight. All this talk of multiple titles at multiple weights will only happen if he's wrapped in cotton wool and is cleverley matched.

I'd give Judah a shot at Khan based on tonight's showing.
