Just as I had thought he was pacing himself, it looked like it and a few more rounds he was going for the KILL.I was

frustrated why he didn't go for it he was admiring his work too much and did not pour it on more.

The guy was already out of £1mill for this fight....and then this **** happens....he could have called the fight off....but he didnt....he got the massive paycut....and still fought....and won....so obviously he's guna be pissed off when the guy you just beat (even though it shouldnt have been stopped, does anybody honestly beleive the outcome would be any different....khan would have won regardless) starts saying he wants a rematch etc etc....

Floyd isn't the only influence on young Khan...this guy would have definitely approved of Khan's press conference antics:

I unfortunately missed some patches of the fight, including the important part of the last round...I'm going to try and rewatch the fight at some point, just to see if Khan was getting closer to breaking McCloskey down, or if he was tiring, as the McCloskey camp keep insisting.

I have to admit, I'm only going off one viewing. But what I saw and felt, was similar to the Paulie fight. Khan finding it hard to find the target early, which was to be expected, but slowly seeing his shots creep through more and more. I think it was in the round before the clash of heads, where he had McCloskey wobbled. I was definitely beginning to enjoy the fight more, as I felt he was warming up and finding more success. So when I saw the referee wave it off, I was really pissed off. Khan wasn't bullshitting when he said the would have done more damage to him if the the fight was allowed to continue.

But I think I need to watch the fight once more to form and accurate view.

McCloskey's camp and the Hearns were totally in the right, it was a joke decision.

Khan and his team have come across bad post fight including in this video, and i hate the Khan hangers on, put me off supporting him at times.

He is a long way off being anything like the Prince in everyway, not the same kind of levels at all.

Thats not the point at all, he may very well have won a landslide on pts the fact is we the fans who payed were robbed of a probable 6 more rds, we were robbed and it was bull****, theye could have let him fight on a bit and see how the cut was, plus the way it was going anything could have happened in that fight, he wasnt dominating despite winning all the rds upto the point, he was sloppy, missing a lot, he didnt look as fast or as strong as previous fights (maybe time to move up to 147)

That was a tongue-in-cheek comparison, never fear. Hamed is one of my favourite fighters, and I know Khan is nothing like him. I do think a young Naz would have enjoyed some of Khan's press conference comments though, especially that 'champ' line.

Khan probably overlooked this fight thinking he didnt have to train as hard....he was winging for the knock out....not boxing like he should have....he was trying to give the fans a show.....not make it a boring fight....i mean McCloskey was being negative and hardly threw any shots!

You cant blame Khan for being robbed, it was the doctor who chose to stop the fight....

Khan would have broke McCloskey down....he was starting to catch him in that round before it got stopped....it would have been similar to the Malignaggi fight....

No one is blaming Khan thats why i dont get why he was getting defensive.

As for what would have happened, no one knows, the way it was going didn't say to me McCloskey was gonna be stopped, it said to me this is definitely going 12 rds with Khan winning (but nothing was a cert), but i felt robbed of those 6 rds as a fan by the crappy decision of the ref and doctor.

Anyone notice Khan copying Pacquiaos style by raising his hands and banging his gloves together when he gets hit
