damn, this month has definately been a bad one for TR, especially with GBP's two shows which looked like jokes but unexpectadly turned into great ones. all i will say about juanma, these latino guys get hyped up too soon as p4p fighters. we saw it with mijares, and now it's segura and juanma. arum blew it with gamboa, it will never be as big now. it's the only potential big fight i can remember him blowing though when he could've made it
You guys do know that THE BOBFATHER will make JuanMa vs Gamboa the very next fight out, that way he can salvage what little money this fight would have generated. At the same time he will put all his promotional backing behind Gamboa to win so he can turn him into the next Pacquiao and push JuanMa further into obscurity. That's the way that old ass ******* works.

Bull crap, if the fight was made. Gamboa could have proven that he was the best. And it doesn't matter if the fight was overhyped. It still would have drawn big business. As a fan of boxing I all for that. But thanks to Arum's greed that will never happen now. Further proof that shady owners like him are killing the sport.
That's actually probably for the better anyway. The emphasis on fighters keeping their "0" at all costs is another thing hurting the sport and preventing the best from fighting the best.

Eveyone is pissed at Arum, but at the end of the day he probably knew that juanma was a seriously flawed fighter, who does not have a top notch trainer.
Doubt it. He couldn't have really squeezed some serious $ out of Gamboa/Lopez even if he knew that was the case. He missed the boat for sure on this one.

I think the smart thing for Arum to do now, is to capitalize on the Grudge-Match and Feud between Juanma and Caballero. Both are coming off losses....Best Scenario for Arum's *****-ass now.
