Just had a quick question, how often do you guys incorporate resistance bands into your training regimen? Do you add it in while shadow boxing? Use it for stretching? At my "gym" we have a lot of resistance bands but I hardly ever see anyone using them much, but I searched a couple of posts here and people are saying it improves hand speed? also, if anyone has experience with the Everlast shadow boxing resistance band, I would appreciate some opions on that
Do yourself a favor and use them!!!! We have the kids down at our gym on them all the time when there shadow boxing. its common knowledge that resistance builds explosive force.Watch how explosive you`ll be when the weights come off.Ali did it under water to the same effect.And most 100 metre sprinters use the resistance weight to build more explosiveness off the mark and for the first 30-40 metres.It will definitly increase your speed and power that much is a fact. On a side note there also good for stretching with if you`ve got a band thats got enough give in it.:yep
