...if 2 referees knew how to do their job properly. Both the Lopez and Mccloskey stoppages were a complete ****ing joke. Why are boxing refs so universally inept??

Doc stopped the Khan fight I think, Lopez was badly hurt and needed to be saved from himself, Salido was tagging him left and right, up and down, it was practically over.

Dude you better start watching Ortiz-Berto, it was a ****ing war, I have no idea where are the FOTY threads. It was violent and beautiful, everything a fan could ask.

Oh i watched that too, it was beautiful just like you say. Ortiz looked all that at WW and more. Downloading it now for a second viewing as my damn stream kept freezing last night....

I just feel both McCloskey and Lopez could've pulled out comebacks!!!

The Mcloskey stoppage was crap. The only thing I can think of is if Mcloskey said something to the ref and doc that we couldn't hear. Otherwise, it was bullsh!t stoppage. Mcloskey, hadn't done sh!t up to that point in the fight, and all his Khan was tiring crap is straight up BS. Mcloskey ain't no power punching guy anyway, and while I was impressed with his defense, he landed little to nothing on offense. At least Khan was active enough to win rounds.

The ref in the Lopez fight could have waited a bit more to see if Lopez could land a shot and fight it out. It isn't the ref's fault though that Lopez got tagged, then stumbled face first into the corner on unsteady legs. Yeah he was still fighting back, but stumbling face first into the corner, had a hell of a lot to do with the ref stopping it, and lets be honest. Salido was about to viciously KO that a$$

Didn't care for the Khan fight and the stoppage blew, the Oritz vs Berto fight was WAY better than I thought it would be i've never like either fighter but that was a great fight, and the Lopez stoppage was premature ....don't think it would of made a difference in the long run but Lopez deserved more of a chance ...Arum must of **** a dradle.

Agree th4 ref screwed up on Juanma. instead of talking about the actual fight with Juanma possibly coming back we are talking about the ref. Ortiz- Bert was brutal then to turn to this and see an even possible bigger upset !! All that along with the re-broadcast of Maidana-Morales at 1am EST. I almost was in boxing heaven. Thanks ref for f*ckin up my wet dream of a fight night !!
