That's exactly why he might just get the chance to ring that register. PAC's running out of options as far as greats that have graced us for the last decade or more, they young lions are finally building some real regconition and creating a foundation to be able to be in a fight like this.

We thought it was Berto at WW to be the one but it looks like we might have jumped the gun....or it's a lesson learned as it seemed to be for Ortiz when he took that loss to Midana. All I know is boxing is exciting right now and some names are emerging from the younger guns. Some unexpected which shakes things up..

I kind of find that dynamic funny in this situation. How all the sudden b/c of a loss, that a guy Floyd supporters demanded PAC fight, b/c in their eyes, he fit the bill of the type of fighter that without questions beast PAC. A Black American, young, strong and fast, with a slick style.

Now....b/c of a loss, he's all the sudden the guy who PAC is gonna choose b/c he's garbage? Berto in my opinion never had a chance against PAC even before this loss to Ortiz...I just felt a fight with Berto would have shut some die hard Floyd supporters up who always say PAC ducks young, black american boxers.

Victor will definitly get a shot over berto given the outcome. For those who are trying to say Berto will get a shot b/c of a loss is comical.

I'm laughing that it would be funny that he's line to fight Pac after he lost.

I still think he would give Mosley a tough fight. And I don't remember saying he would win.

Bandwagon hater? I just thought it was funny. Because mosley is coming off a loss at 147.... So was Clottey and Margarito.

Show me how that's hating cause I laughed?

I never thought the black american young strong fast slick style. I thought Berto was a better option than Shane simply because of how much **** Pac fans talked about how mosley was now old after he lost to Mayweather but he's a more than qualified opponent now.

If Berto was never that good, then Ortiz shouldn't get the shot if he barely got a decision over Berto and was nearly out.

Ortiz is the best option at 147 outside of Floyd. So based on the fight the fight Saturday, which in my opinion showed Ortiz clearly the better fighter, he'll be in front of Berto IF either actually get a shot. Shane could beat PAC with all the upsets we've seen... I highly doubt it but this is boxing. That wasn't really a close fight in my opinion.

This is more of a joke on you guys, shows how fickly you all are.

A guy gets 1 big win, "OMG Pac is ducking him!!!", next fight he's exposed and your "hahaha, Pac will fight him next". Are your memories that short you were asking for this fight not too long ago? When all the *******s were asking, "who has Berto beaten, why dont he prove himself first", were proven right again. Because Margo, Cotto, Hatton, Clottey, Mosley have all shown they are more capable fighters than Berto.

Yup, Montiel and other Mexican fighters did that to Donaire, Jhonny Gonzales did that to the Penalosa, Ulysis did that to Viloria, and three Mexicans did that to Donnie Nietes when he defended his belt in Mexico for 3 times.
