There's no doubt now, Gamboa is the best featherweight on the planet !!!

    The verdict is out ...

Lopez got dropped and stopped by mediocre Salido. :hey

Gamboa played with Salido, knocked him down 2 times and beat him easily UD even losing 2 points in the process. Would have gotten the KO but got desperate and careless in the 12th. :scaredas:

Gamboa easily KO'd and defeated Mtagwa, while Lopez was almost KO'd by him :nut

Gamboa looked absolutely sensational stopping Solis and dropping him 4 times, The Cuban looked like a top 3 P4P ... ;)

There's no doubt now that everyone's opinion is about to change as Gamboa has all of the sudden become the best of the best of the lower weights. Lopez was not only stopped by a fighter who Gamboa played with but also looked very bad on the process. Who is left for Gamboa to blow away? :!:

    John?
    Caballero?
    Salido?
    Garcia?
    Rojas?

While all of these are good fighters, they don't stand a chance in my opinion against El Ciclón de Guantánamo Cuba, Yuriorkis Gamboa . :bart

    Opinions ???

Two of his former opponents hold a FW title (plus there's Solis' interim belt) and he's a unified champion (not any longer it seems), he certainly did more than John recently. But there's no clear no1 right now, the fate of the division should be decided in a John-Gamboa showdown.

I've been a fan of Gamboa from the beginning, but this is annoying. I think for the frst time since Nallege someone is going on my ignore list.

I'd like to see him fight John or Marquez next and further solidify his position.

I am really hoping that John decides to fight Gamboa, it will be his bye bye last fight for sure. A demolition ALA Solis awaits John if he ever enters the same ring with Gamboa ! :hey

Gamboa - John would decide ultimate featherweight supremacy. Arum will never let it happen though...
