Cotto would control him with his superior jab early on and finish him off late.

Ortiz would give Cotto trouble, probably hurt him with a few quick hard shots up the middle of his guard he doesn't see coming, but he jabs and breaks down Ortiz to get a late stoppage or violent decision.

 

cotto still takes this one imo. cotto would have smashed berto if they have fought.

I say Ortiz buzzes Cotto early on then similar to sat, a backpedaling Cotto is a vulnerable one.

 

how can you say that as a fan of boxing, cotto always gives us great fights and he takes on anyone.

 

Great fight, but I think Cotto ends up with the victory in a FOTY candidate.

Its hard to say who would win because they are similar. I would have to put my money on Ortiz based on his youth and how strong he looked at WW.
I think tecnically Ortiz might be the better boxer too. Its very close but i think he edges it in that department along with power and speed. Very close in everything though.

 

Go watch MMA then. Cotto is everything a boxer should be.
